Jenny Jones,
Design Associate
A native
of Durham with a beautiful daughter, Aliyah; a rabbit named
Houdini; and a Doberman pinscher named Coco. Jenny currently works
full time in the optical industry and part time here! She’s a free
spirit, open to new people and new experiences, with a great deal
of enthusiasm. She has the ability to retain a lot of useless
information and truly enjoys Yahoo’s odd news. Jenny believes that
laughter is the key to life. She has earned the nickname, “the
drive-by scrapper,” because she can put together a project so
quickly.

Tonya Krout, Administrative
Diva
Since moving
here a year ago, Tonya has been hunting for the best stores in the
Triangle and immediately added Carolina Memories to her list on
opening day. Her two cats, Tinkerbell and Birdie, let her
live with them because someone needs opposable thumbs. She has one
room dedicated to crafting and sewing yet projects still sneak
into other areas of the house. She plans to combine her interests
in genealogy, bookbinding and writing to create family history
scrapbooks for each of her nieces and nephews. |

Fareeda Mater, Design Associate
Fareeda, a longtime Durham resident, comes to Carolina Memories with a background in business administration and three years’ experience running a family business. She has been a crafter for more than 40 years and has been creating handcrafted cards for the past three years. In fact, Fareeda is our resident “card-making diva in training” (CMDIT) as she keeps countless designs in mini-albums so she can recreate her favorite card designs. She is always learning new card-making and stamping techniques. Her other current craft project is discovering digital scrapbooking, which she is mastering little by little. Fareeda loves helping customers finish their projects, so don’t be surprised to hear her asking, “How may I assist you?” when you stop by.
